Google has already had a pretty eventful year, rebranding its AI chatbot from Bard to Gemini and releasing several new AI models. But hold your breath, because there’s more to come! At Google I/O, the company’s annual developer conference, expect to see even more announcements regarding AI and the unveiling of new hardware for the first time this year.

🔥🔥 Google I/O: Where Magic Happens

Google sent out event invites to the press, including yours truly, revealing that the conference will take place on May 14th and 15th at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA. The keynote event, when Google leaders take the stage to unveil the latest hardware and software, is scheduled for the first day of the conference at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET.

📺🌐 Catch the Action Live

Can’t attend in person? No worries! Google usually live streams the event on YouTube and its website for all those members of the public and press who can’t physically be there. So make sure to tune in and witness the magic unfold from the comfort of your own home.

📝🎟️ Calling All Developers

Attention developers! You can register for the event on the Google I/O landing page for free. Not only will you get email updates, but you’ll also have access to on-demand sessions, which is a perk you surely don’t want to miss out on.

🤔❓ What’s in Store?

Now, the details may be vague, but given the announcements Google has already made this year, it’s safe to say that the focus of the event will be artificial intelligence. Last year, AI took center stage at I/O with major announcements, including new language models, AI features in Android, and an improved chatbot. This year, we can expect to hear more about the new features on Android 15, updates to Gemini (formerly Bard), and maybe even a new large language model.

📱💥 The Hardware Showdown

Apart from the software extravaganza, Google I/O will presumably showcase some new hardware as well. If Google follows last year’s pattern, we might see the unveiling of the Pixel 8A smartphone. The Pixel 7A, revealed at last year’s event, proved to be an impressive mid-range smartphone and A-series device.

✨💡 Expect the Unexpected

Google I/O is notorious for surprising attendees with unexpected announcements. So, it’s always a good rule of thumb to expect something that no one is talking about. And fear not, because ENBLE will be covering the event. Even if you can’t tune in yourself, you can always check our site for the latest updates.
