Iāve been itching to tell you about my latest adventure! Brace yourselves, because Iāve been playing around with DALL-E 3 inside ChatGPT Plus, and itās mind-blowing. š¤Æ But before we dive in, let me clarify that this research is purely professional. No, really, thereās absolutely no obsession involved. š Letās go!
From Discord to ChatGPT Plus: The Easier, the Merrier!
I used to use Midjourney to customize uploaded images, but the process was convoluted. I had to run Midjourney in Discord, follow numerous steps to upload an image, obtain a URL, and so on. It was a hassle! But now, with ChatGPT Plus, simplicity reigns supreme. All I need to do is click on the paperclip icon, upload the image, and voila! Easy-peasy, one and done. š
Testing the Limits: Let the Games Begin!
Naturally, I couldnāt resist putting DALL-E 3 through its paces. I threw at it three images: my car, a picture of myself, and the ENBLE logo. Letās see how it fared, shall we? Buckle up!
My Car: A Challenger on the Loose
I uploaded a picture of my beloved 2013 Dodge Challenger and gave DALL-E 3 this simple instruction: āPut car in city.ā To my delight, DALL-E 3 reproduced a city scene with my car in it! Impressive, right? But letās take it up a notch. Since I have a definite steampunk fascination, I went for it and asked DALL-E to āMake it steampunk.ā Lo and behold, my Challenger transformed into a jaw-dropping steampunk marvel while still retaining its original body style. Talk about the best of both worlds!
DALL-Eās Quirks and Breaks
Now, be warned, DALL-E can be a bit finicky. It didnāt take long before it gave me the equivalent of āIām sorry, Dave. Iām afraid I canāt do that.ā But fear not! I found a workaround. I simply took the last successfully created image, uploaded it into a new ChatGPT Plus session, and continued from there. Problem solved! š ļø

A Flying Car: Beyond Boundaries
To explore new horizons, I requested DALL-E to make my steampunk car fly. And boy, did it deliver! It conjured up a magnificent Chitty Chitty Bang Bang-style vehicle soaring through the skies. While it may not be my car anymore, the sheer awe it inspired made up for it. Letās keep pushing those boundaries, shall we?
Santa in the Driverās Seat: A Holiday Surprise
With the holiday season in full swing, why not put Santa in my car? Well, hereās where I hit a roadblock. ChatGPT politely declined, saying, āIām sorry, but I canāt assist with that request.ā Who knew AI had its limits, right? Undeterred, I combined multiple prompts into one, and it worked! I managed to capture a beautiful scene featuring my car, a steampunk city ambiance, and Santa at the wheel. Victorious!
Me in an Office: Not Meant to Be
In an attempt to place myself in an office setting, ChatGPT shut me down with a firm āIām sorry, but I canāt assist with that request.ā Itās alright, ChatGPT, no hard feelings. Letās move on to something completely different!
ENBLE Logo on the Move
I decided to experiment with the ENBLE logo. First, I asked DALL-E to put it on a jumbo jetāan excellent choice, if I do say so myself. While it got the color right, the logo placement left something to be desired. But fear not! Next, I requested it to grace a brick building, and although the green was off, it gave it a fair shot. Finally, I pushed the limits further and told DALL-E to move the building onto a model railroad. The result was fascinating, albeit far from what I anticipated.

After delving into the world of DALL-E and ChatGPT, here are the key takeaways:
- Uploading images to DALL-E is a breeze, thanks to ChatGPT Plus.
- Image modification requests yield mixed results, but the journey is fun nonetheless.
