Unleash the Power of Carrier Deals: Get Up to $1,000 Off on the iPhone 15

iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max: First Look

As the highly anticipated iPhone 15 is about to hit the shelves, carriers are already rolling out their latest offers to entice customers to upgrade their devices. The big three carriers in the US – AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon – are all offering up to $1,000 off the iPhone 15, with some conditions, of course. So, let’s dive into the exciting world of carrier deals and explore what each of these providers has in store for you.

AT&T: A Straightforward Deal for iPhone Fanatics

AT&T is making it pretty straightforward to get $1,000 off the iPhone 15. All you need to do is be on one of their recent or older unlimited plans (excluding the cheapest Value Plus option limited to a single line) and trade in a recent phone in good condition. The eligible phones include models from last year and older premium phones, including the iPhone 12 Pro Max and any iPhone from the iPhone 13 or iPhone 14 lines (except the iPhone 13 mini). It’s not just limited to iPhones; even the Google Pixel 7 Pro and a range of Samsung devices are eligible.

To avail this deal, you would need to commit to a 36-month installment plan. The $1,000 discount is distributed as monthly bill credits over the course of the plan. However, if you decide to switch carriers before completing the plan, you will need to pay off the remaining balance on your phone.

Verizon: The Alluring Offer for Switchers

Verizon is offering the full $1,000 discount on the iPhone 15, but with a catch. To get this deal, you’ll need to add a new line or switch from a rival provider and sign up for their priciest unlimited plan – the Unlimited Ultimate plan, introduced just last month. Similar to AT&T, you’ll also need to trade in a phone and commit to a 36-month installment plan. The $1,000 discount is provided as monthly bill credits. If you decide to leave Verizon early, you’ll be responsible for paying off the remaining balance on your phone.

One quirky advantage with Verizon’s offer is that they accept any iPhone in any condition for trade-in, opening up the opportunity to get the full discount even if you have an ancient broken iPhone 4 in your drawer. Plus, you can always trade in or sell a more recent phone elsewhere to earn some extra cash. However, Verizon has not provided a comment as to why this offer is restricted to switchers opting for their priciest plan.

T-Mobile: A Limited Offer for the Elite

T-Mobile’s best deal for the iPhone 15 is not much different from Verizon’s. To avail of their top discount, you need to be on either the Go5G Plus plan introduced in April or the priciest Go5G Next option added in August. Apart from that, you would also need to trade in an “eligible” device in good condition to receive the $1,000 discount as bill credits over the course of your monthly bill.

Eligible devices for this deal include Pro model iPhones dating back to the iPhone 11 Pro, as well as the “Ultra” models of Samsung Galaxy S21, S22, S23, or Note 20. To incentivize their existing customers, T-Mobile offers the advantage of shorter financing plans, running for 24 months compared to AT&T and Verizon’s 36-month plans. Go5G Next users can even trade in their phones and upgrade after making 12 months of payments. However, T-Mobile restricts this deal to Go5G plan users only, so if you have an older plan, everyone on it would need to switch to take advantage of this offer.

T-Mobile spokesperson shared with ENBLE that they introduced Go5G Plus and Go5G Next plans to provide customers with more data and value, assuring great device deals for those on these plans. However, they do have alternative offers for customers who don’t wish to switch plans.

Explore Your Options for Older Devices or Plan Preference

If you don’t have the latest phone or don’t want to switch your plan, don’t worry! All three carriers have lesser deals that cater to such scenarios.

AT&T: Discount Offers for Various Devices

AT&T’s offer drops to $830 off a new iPhone 15 if you’re trading in older devices, such as iPhone 11 or 12 series phones, or the iPhone 13 mini. On the Galaxy side, eligible devices include those from the Galaxy S20 or S21 lines, Note 20 lines, as well as earlier Z Fold and Z Flip models. Other eligible Android devices include Google Pixel 6 Pro and 7, as well as the OnePlus 9 Pro 5G and 10 Pro.

For devices dating back to the iPhone X line and others like the second- and third-generation iPhone SE, the offer goes down to $350 in credit. AT&T has an extensive list of eligible older Samsung, Google, OnePlus, LG, Motorola, ZTE, Asus, and Microsoft phones. Regardless of the offer you choose, the devices being traded in need to be on an installment plan, and you’ll still need to finance the new phone over a 36-month period.

Verizon: Graduated Offers Based on Plan Levels

Verizon’s offer varies based on the plan you are on. If you’re on their higher-end plans, such as the new Unlimited Plus plan or older options like Do More, Play More, Get More, or One, you can get up to $830 off a new iPhone 15 with a trade-in. The eligible devices for these plans have not been disclosed at the moment.

For customers on cheaper plans, like Verizon’s Unlimited Welcome or 5G Start, the discount drops to up to $415 off a new iPhone with a trade-in. It is important to note that these devices may also need to be in good condition. As with the previous offers, you will need to finance the phone through Verizon over a 36-month period to receive the actual discount as monthly bill credits.

T-Mobile: Varied Offers Based on Plan and Device Trade-In

T-Mobile’s offers start with up to $650 off any iPhone 15 model if you are on their Magenta Max plan. Eligible devices include iPhones dating back to the XS, XS Max, and 11 series, but not the iPhone XR, along with other undisclosed Android phones.

For those on T-Mobile’s Magenta or Go5G plan, the discount drops to $350 off with trade-in, including the same eligible iPhones as mentioned earlier. Customers with older plans can still get $200 off by trading in iPhones ranging from the iPhone XR up to the iPhone 13 series, along with undisclosed eligible Android devices. Similar to other offers, all devices being traded in must be in good, working condition and fully paid off.

Choose Your Path to iPhone 15 Bliss

The carrier deals for the iPhone 15 are undeniably enticing, offering substantial discounts that can make owning the latest iPhone a reality for many consumers. Whether you’re an iPhone fanatic looking for the best deal, a switcher seeking new opportunities, or someone preferring to hold onto their older device or current plan, there’s a carrier offer that can meet your needs.
