Samsung and uBreakiFix Expand Partnership for Same-Day Repairs

In 2018, Samsung partnered with uBreakiFix to provide same-day, in-person repairs for Galaxy smartphones. This collaboration has now expanded, offering additional services for Samsung Galaxy smartphone and tablet owners.

The most exciting update is the upgrade of 50 uBreakiFix service centers across the U.S. to flagship Samsung repair outlets by the end of the year. These flagship outlets will have the capacity to handle repairs in high volume with exceptional speed and customer satisfaction. They will feature specialized repair jigs and increased inventory stock by model and color.

The introduction of flagship servicing stores addresses the need for specialized services not available at other outlets. As a pilot test, five flagship stores were opened in Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Orlando, and San Antonio earlier this year. These stores have successfully proven their capability to provide top-notch repair services.

In addition to the flagship stores, Samsung is also enhancing its “We Come To You” program, a nationwide initiative that brings uBreakiFix repair experts directly to Samsung Galaxy smartphone owners. These experts travel in vans and offer repair services at any reasonable location, whether it’s a cafe, office, or even the customer’s home.

With over 400 vans across the country, uBreakiFix takes appointments for repair visits through its official website and Samsung’s online storefront. While in-store visits are free of charge, calling a repair van to your home or office incurs a $30 service fee. Samsung is making the process of booking the “We Come to You” service much easier on Samsung.com.

However, there are a few requirements to keep in mind. Whether you choose an in-person repair at a flagship store or call for a repair van, you must make a prior appointment. Additionally, the same-day repair service is only available for flagship devices in the Galaxy S (S21 and newer) and the Galaxy Z (Fold 3 / Flip 3 and later models) series.

It’s worth noting that uBreakiFix is not only a repair partner for Samsung but also for Google’s Pixel phones since 2016. On the other hand, Samsung offers a self-repair facility for select devices, as well as detailed repair guides and spare parts sold in partnership with iFixit and its own storefront. Samsung also provides “We Come to You” services and a mail-in repair option.

With this expanded partnership between Samsung and uBreakiFix, Galaxy smartphone and tablet owners can now access faster and more convenient repair services. The combination of flagship stores, repair vans, and online booking makes it easier than ever to get their devices fixed, ensuring a seamless and efficient customer experience.
